The Computational Interaction and Robotics Lab is a research laboratory in the Department of Computer Science at Johns Hopkins University. We are also associated with the NSF Engineering Research Center for Computer-Integrated Surgical Systems and Technology (ERC-CISST) and the Laboratory for Computational Sensing and Robotics. We are interested in understanding the problems that involve dynamic, spatial interaction at the intersection of vision, robotics, and human-computer interaction. |

The lab is directed by Dr. Gregory D. Hager. We are located in the Computational Science and Engineering Building on the lovely Homewood Campus of the Johns Hopkins University. Please click on the people link in the navigation menu for members of the CIRL Lab. Current members include faculty, faculty collaborators, and students. For information regarding current research projects, please click on the research link. The research page also details the past projects in the lab and also potential projects in the lab. The publications page lists in backwards chronology the papers authored by members of this lab that have or will be in publication. Note that this might not be a complete list. Please contact Dr. Hager or a member of this lab if you are looking for a specific paper not listed. If you are interested in joining the lab as a graduate student, you may want to look at the CIRL New Student FAQ. The XVision is the Johns Hopkins open source visual tracking software developed by Dr. Hager and his graduate students. The media page contains pictures, movies, presentations, data sets and further information. Please feel free to contact any member of this lab if you have any questions or comments! Locations in CSEB
